MCA TECH TIPS: A Learning Tutorial Website for Teachers and Students, Fundamental Hardware learning at Maranatha Christian Academy of Novalivhes
SY 2024-25
Continuously advancing technology has significantly changed our way of accessing and acquiring information. Educational associations are increasingly blending digital tools and platforms to improve teaching and learning. This technique is especially notable in the technical fields of computer and hardware education. The students need to be constantly fresh with the newest tools, techniques, and trends, so the introduction of technology into the curriculum is vital.
At Maranatha Christian Academy of Novalivhes, the importance of providing students with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental hardware concepts has been recognized as an essential part of the curriculum. The foundation of information communication technology education is mostly hardware learning, which includes the study of computer parts, gadgets, and their operations. Since digital literacy is becoming more and more important in the modern world, all students must know about hardware, not only for those pursuing professions in IT-related fields.
The result of this study will benefit the following:
Students. This study will help the students learn more about the device they are using, providing information about how hardware peripherals must be properly used. The students will be more aware of the do’s and do n’ts, and they will become responsible.
Teachers. They could know what to do in case their devices have problems. They can help themselves anytime there is a problem.
The objective of this study is to introduce the teachers and students to the inner workings of their devices at Maranatha Christian Academy of Novaliches. This provides easy-to-use and understandable information or tutorials. This could help the teachers and students to have more exposure when it comes to new hobbies or interests.

To lay open the teachers and students to new opportunities and hobbies.
As the ICT at Senior High, we want to enable and educate all MCAians as our generations expand our understanding of it. We will take students and teachers into the future of technology. First and foremost, we want them to understand and be comfortable with hardware, which is the basis of all computing systems. Since they are unaware of this part of the computer, we will educate them about the CPU, RAM storage devices, and peripherals. Such problems plague some people, and that's why we will teach them how to resolve them so that next time when these problems again occur they'll know how to overcome them on their own.
Scope
The "MCA Tech Tips: Fundamental Hardware Learning" tutorial website targets Maranatha Christian Academy teachers and students for the school year 2024-2025. The website focuses on basic computer hardware components such as CPU, motherboard, RAM, and storage, aiming to equip learners with foundational knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and maintenance techniques.
Limitations
The website's technical scope assumes basic computer knowledge, catering to beginner-level learners. It excludes software and networking aspects. Additionally, the content is tailored to Maranatha Christian Academy's curriculum and resources, limiting its applicability beyond the institution. The website's relevance is confined to the 2024-2025 school year, requiring future updates. Furthermore, accessibility is contingent upon internet connectivity and compatible devices.
This framework integrates constructivist, experiential, and social cognitive theories to facilitate effective hardware learning:
ALTERNATIVE HYPOTHESIS
The tutorial website can greatly improve the student's and teacher's knowledge about computer in hardware and improve their problem-solving skills and can give them career opportunities in the future
NULL HYPOTHESIS
The tutorial website will not be effective for students and teachers in learning essential hardware knowledge.
Troubleshooting - Troubleshooting is a systematic approach to solving a problem. The goal of troubleshooting is to determine why something does not work as expected and explain how to resolve the problem. The first step in the troubleshooting process is to describe the problem completely.
Hardware - Hardware refers to the physical and visible components of the system such as a monitor, CPU, keyboard, and mouse. Software, on the other hand, refers to a set of instructions that enable the hardware to perform a specific set of tasks.
Peripherals - Some common computer peripherals include keyboards, mice, tablet pens, joysticks, scanners, monitors, speakers, printers, external hard drives, and media card readers.
Gina Tuty Alawiyah, Putri Banyu Suryani, Yusya Nur Salam And SIti Sahronih, September (2022).In this study, they investigate how effective online learning was during the pandemic when video lessons were used. Using qualitative research, which is library research from several journals, this approach gathers data through literature studies, which examine various textual materials in earlier study publications. According to the study's findings, using video tutorials helps make online learning more efficient throughout the pandemic. This is true for elementary school subjects like math. Teachers' poor performance in the dull learning process and their lack of use of creative media are the main causes of the low quality of online learning.

Design and Development of an Online Learning Platform for Computer Hardware.
This Indian study presents a web-based platform for learning computer hardware concepts, focusing on interactive modules and quizzes. The study highlights the effectiveness of online platforms in enhancing student engagement and understanding.
This quantitative research used a descriptive design. Aims to systematically obtain information to describe a phenomenon, situation, or population. More specifically, it helps answer the what, when, where, and how questions regarding the research problem rather than the why. It is used by researchers to obtain an appropriate design to closely examine the experiences of Junior High School students of Maranatha Christian Academy of Novaliches.
Through this design, the researchers aim to explore the basic knowledge that the students and teachers have when it comes to computers, specifically the hardware peripherals that their devices have.
The use of descriptive as a research design is usually carried out in interviews or questions to have deeper knowledge about the hardware in any computers.
For this research, a selection process will be conducted to include the teachers and students in grades 4–6 with high schools from Maranatha Christian Academy of Novaliches as the primary respondents. We believe the grades 4-6 Maranatha Christian Academy has at least known hardware. This certain group was picked for their hardware knowledge tested.
The questionnaires were the most essential instrument used to collect data for the study. These high school students and teachers at Maranatha Christian Academy of Novaliches were given this questionnaire, which was then given out and answered.
The survey was created by using Google Forms. Then the survey form was distributed in the Maranatha Christian Academy classroom group chat on each grade level in High school and was sent to teachers in MCA through private messages.
The survey was designed to determine whether the MCA TECH-TIPS website would be useful to students and teachers in Novaliches' Maranatha Christian Academy.
